Communications Director
Franny Brewer is the Communications Director for the Big Island Invasive Species Committee (BIISC), a University of Hawaii program which works island-wide to address and respond to invasive species that affect our environment, economy, and health. Franny manages BIISCʻs environmental education program, informing and engaging residents from keiki to kupuna to protect our forests, farms, reefs, and homes from damaging pests. She will be presenting on BIISCʻs little fire ant program, which provides hands-on training and support to neighborhoods and communities committed to working together to control little fire ants.
