Heather Forrester

Heather Forester is the Extension Specialist at the Hawaii Ant Lab, Hilo Office. She has been with the lab over six years where she has worked with a variety of stakeholder groups throughout the State. One of her main focuses has been prevention and early detection for West Hawaii, and working with residents, farmers, and nurseries on Best Management Practices for Little Fire Ants. Since infested properties are faced with unique challenges, the Hawaii Ant Lab tailors specialized Integrated Pest Management approaches based on the stakeholder’s priorities and goals. 16 East Lanikaula Street, Hilo, HI 96720.
