Keith Okamoto, chief engineer with DWS on Hawaii Island.
Keith started his engineering career working for private engineering firms on Oahu. He later moved to the Big Island in 1996 to join the Department of Water Supply. He has held several positions within the department before being appointed as Deputy in 2012, and then promoted to the position of Manager-Chief Engineer in 2015.
Keith is a graduate of Iolani School and the University of Washington.
Keith is married to his wife Leigh and has a 14 year old son, Tristan. In his spare time, Keith stays active with community service and enjoys the Big Island’s outdoors with family and friends.
