Mr. Matsukawa is a community leader and respected practicing attorney in West Hawai’i.  He has over 40 years experience in Hawai’i land use, community development, government, and real property law.  Mike serves as director on multiple non-profit boards, including; Community Enterprises, West Hawaii Community Health Center, and La`i`Opua 2020.

Born and raised at Kikiaola, Waimea, District of Kona, Island of Kauai (a model community planned in the 1880’s – a “Blue Zone”)
